Larry Alderson - Ferrari/Exotics Expert
Larry Alderson, renowned classic car aficionado and manager of Family Classics Cars, is also the company’s resident Ferrari and Exotics expert. With over 30 years of experience, he is “the go-to guy” for the rarest of rare, most perfectly restored or beautifully original Ferraris and exotics in the world. A true European car enthusiast, Larry has personally owned a variety of sports cars and classics including Ferraris, Jaguars, Lotus, Bentleys and Lagondas. Larry began his career in 1968 with the purchase of a Lotus Cortina. This led to owning and racing a Lotus Super Seven, followed by a championship-winning Lotus 23. In 1979, he purchased a restoration shop in Paramount, California and soon became known for superior quality restorations of early Jaguars, Ferraris and the lesser-known Italia IM5. To that point, he restored 2 Italias in 1988 that fetched record-breaking prices and helped raise the international value of these cars. Larry is extremely well connected in automotive society circles, belonging to organizations like the world-famous Petersen Museum’s Checkered Flag Club. He is highly in tune with current classic car offerings, their value, market trends and industry happenings. Whatever breed of European, classic or exotic car it is your heart desires, Larry knows how to find it, and it is sure to be one of the finest examples of that car around.

Mark Drewitz - Muscle Cars/50’s-70’s American Car Expert
Mark Drewitz was almost literally born in a shop. His Dad owned several repair shops as he grew up, and as such, Mark grew up wrenching on any and all things automotive - customs, classics, and exotics - with his father. The years came and went, and the one common thread throughout his career would be cars - studying cars, building cars and repairing cars. Now he helps match people with their dream cars. Mark’’s personal favorites are the muscle cars of the late sixties/early seventies - a time when performance was all that mattered. His other faves are the convertibles of the 50s and early 60s - a time when style was all that
mattered.

Mike Canipe - Hot Rod/Street Rod
Mike Canipe has been tearing apart, building and restoring hot rods for over 30 years, and now manages Family Classic Cars’ Hot Rod/Street Rod collections. A former professional musician who toured with John Fogerty, Mike is rock ‘n roll. And somewhere between living the life of a musician and building hot rods, he parlayed his love for collecting them into a career at Family Classics. Having grown up on the drag strips of southern California, Mike only half-jokingly admits that he’s owned over 300 cars. And coincidentally, Mike has a knack for finding classic cars with personality. One gem in particular was an old school red primered ‘33 Ford Roadster with a Chevy 327 that belonged to a Baptist preacher in the small town of Snohomish, Washington. And it also happened to be a Street Rodder magazine award-winning car. Mike’s also built his own share of trophy winners, and whether you’re looking for a hot rod for Saturday morning cruises, a show car or a well-constructed, quality driver, Mike will find it
for you.
