1953 Was the final year of this Series 62 body style and arguably the best. In 1953 This Cadillac was the fastest car around with its OHV 331cid V8 and four speed Hydromatic automatic transmission. Truly the standard of the world. This car in particular is very well equipped with power steering, power top, power windows, signal seeking preset am radio, hartz cloth top, chrome wire wheels, and wide whitewall tires. The car is finished in original Rose with rose and burgundy full leather interior, and a burgundy cloth top with matching boot. The car was totally frame off, nut and bolt rotisserie restored to the highest of standards. It is simply breathtaking. When driving the car, the first thing one notices is how quiet the engine, how smooth the ride is and how unbelievably solid the body is. There are virtually ZERO squeaks or rattles, it feels like the day it drove off the showroom floor. Absolutely efortless to drive. And talk about a head turner. This car would make any owner proud to show it at a concour, its that good. The motor fires right up without even touching the accelarator and idles so smooth and quiet. There is zero hesitation when accelerating from a stop, the transmission shifts smoothly and precisely. This is a no stories, honest Cadillac that has never seen an accident or rust. it is quite evident that it has lead a pampered life. This rare color combination sets this car apart from the rest. this Classic American icon will continue appreciating in value. This is the Cadillac to own. With only 345 miles since restoration this car is stunning. The body is laser straight, the chrome looks liquid, everything about the car is gorgeous.
